Charles Sniffen joined Harrison, Kirkland, Pratt & McGuire, P.A. in 2011. He currently focuses his practice on civil litigation and criminal defense. Mr. Sniffen is an accomplished trial lawyer who is board certified as a criminal trial expert by the Florida Bar. He has tried more than 40 cases to a jury and has handled hundreds of bench trials in civil, criminal and probate matters in courts throughout Florida. Mr. Sniffen has earned a reputation among clients and peers for his outstanding trial advocacy and dedication to legal ethics.

Mr. Sniffen is active in the community, serving as Board Chair for AMIkids Manatee County, a non-profit day treatment program dedicated to rehabilitating repeat juvenile offenders and other troubled youth. Since 2003 Mr. Sniffen has also served as an instructor of legal and ethical issues at Manatee Technical Institute. He has often served as a scoring judge the 12th Judicial Circuit Mock Trial Competition and as a Judge and Instructor for the Manatee County Teen Court Program since 2000.

Mr. Sniffen was raised in New York City and is a graduate of Emory University and Florida State College of Law. Mr. Sniffen began his legal career as a trial lawyer with Ferdie & Gouz in Coral Gables. In 1999 Mr. Sniffen relocated to the West Coast of Florida to serve as an Assistant State Attorney. In 2005, Mr. Sniffen joined the Bradenton trial firm of Harllee & Bald, P.A. where he practiced until founding his own firm in 2007. After spending four years as a sole practitioner, Mr. Sniffen merged his practice with Harrison, Kirkland, Pratt & McGuire, P.A. in 2011.
