George H. Harrison is the senior partner of Harrison, Kirkland, Pratt & McGuire, P.A. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1951, Mr. Harrison has more than 60 years of experience representing the people and businesses of Manatee County and has been instrumental in the firm’s development and success. Mr. Harrison currently focuses his practice on corporate and commercial transactions, real estate, probate, estate planning, and banking law.
Mr. Harrison served as President of the Manatee County Bar Association from 1963 to 1964. He also served as a Manatee County attorney from 1955 to 1961, and has been involved in various civic organizations throughout his career. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies and law school, serving as Research Editor of the University of Florida Law Review in 1949 and 1950.
Mr. Harrison is licensed to practice in all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
